The TDM-DECT base stations are available with factory option of either internal or external antennas. The TDM-DECT base station with external antennas comes with two omni-directional antennas but can easily be replaced by other specified antennas for extended range. Although only one antenna is active, at any given time, multiple antennas ensure the integrity of the radio signal. Radio signal fading is corrected by switching to the other antenna for transmission and reception, resulting in more stable radio performance and better speech quality.
