Technology and connectivity platform provider Plan.com has announced a new Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) agreement with BT Wholesale.

The partnership expands the wireless and wireline connectivity available to the firm’s customers, opening up access to BT Group’s 4G and 5G EE network, including VoLTE and VoWiFi functionality.

Founded in 2014 and headquartered in the Isle of Man, Plan.com specialises in the provision of innovative connectivity and productivity solutions to UK businesses via its my.plan platform.

Designed to operate seamlessly across devices, services and networks, the platform enables businesses to connect, configure and control all aspects of their business communications in one place.

With network-level controls, robust analytics and real-time insights, plan.com says its platform is transforming how many leading UK businesses and brands manage their workforce connectivity – from one employee to more than 10,000.

Thanks to its new partnership with BT Wholesale, business customers will gain access to 4G and 5G services on EE, as well as VoLTE and VoWiFi functionality, in early 2022.

“Our new partnership with BT Wholesale, and the addition of the EE network to the plan.com offering, is a significant step forward that will deliver a huge innovation boost for our platform,” explained Dan Craddock, CEO and co-founder of plan.com.

“We specifically designed my.plan to deliver multiple products and services across networks in one place, and today’s announcement is a significant step forward in realising that long-term vision.”

With greater choice for plan.com partners and customers, the provider says the partnership will also expand the platform for future innovation and the development of new features and services over the years ahead.

“As one of Europe’s largest wholesale providers, we understand the value in providing our partners and their customers with the best network experience, and we’re pleased that plan.com has put their trust in us to support their growth plans with this long term MVNO deal,” commented Nick Wootten, MVNO director at BT’s Wholesale unit.
