Lookout unveils new channel partner programme

Cyber security provider Lookout has redesigned its global channel partner programme to help meet the growing demand for integrated endpoint-to-cloud security.

Developed based on partner feedback, the firm says the initiative aims to accelerate and grow the success of its channel community through exclusive benefits, comprehensive education, sales support, and marketing resources.

The move follows Lookout's recent acquisition of CipherCloud, a multi-cloud security platform that specialises in data protection, compliance and control.

The provider says that partners of both companies can now benefit from Lookout's Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solution, the industry’s first integrated offering that secures an organisation's entire data path from endpoint to cloud.

"We know that securing endpoint-to-cloud connectivity will remain a top IT priority for organisations as a large portion of their workforce continues working remotely, even as the pandemic subsides," said Gert-Jan Schenk, Lookout’s chief revenue officer. "To enable their digital transformation, we've redesigned our partner programme to better enable partner success.”

The revamped programme now offers a simplified, two-tier structure, which has been designed to better recognise and reward partners’ performance. New Elite and Select tiers offer businesses various benefits to help elevate their value and differentiation in the market, as well as increase profitability.

Elite partners will have exclusive access larger discounts on registered deals, marketing development finds (MDF), additional revenue streams from consulting and professional services, dedicated product and sales champions, access to insights from Lookout’s Threat Intelligence team, technical and sales training, as well as invitations to key industry events.

Available later this spring, the new Lookout Partner Academy training and certification platform will also provide sales and pre-sales training courses, while the new partner portal offers a handy control hub for registration and resources.

The refreshed channel program will accelerate partners' ability to sell its endpoint-to-cloud platform to customers, the provider says.

“With the Lookout integrated endpoint-to-cloud security solution, our channel partners can enable their customers' digital transformation by empowering them to securely deliver applications to users anywhere they want to work," Schenk added.
