Bitdefender has announced new enhancements to its Partner Advantage Network channel program, designed to protect incumbency status and maximise revenue opportunities for partners.

The enhancements include improved incumbency protection, new revenue opportunities, a revamped partner portal, as well as new e-learning and sales training.

The cyber security provider says the additions will empower partners to sell its solutions and services, which have been growing at twice the 2020 endpoint protection market growth rate, as per Gartner.

“As a cybersecurity market leader, Bitdefender is once again raising the bar for channel partner programs to support growth and profitability while capitalising on the tremendous demand for market leading endpoint security technologies,” commented Steve Kelley, president and general manager of Bitdefender Business Solutions Group.

In 2020, Bitdefender grew its number of active channel partners by 21%, as well as increased channel-driven billings significantly year-over-year, the firm revealed.

To build on this success, the Partner Advantage Network now offers a number of additional perks, which include better protection for incumbency status.

This improved protection at the customer renewal phase means incumbent partners receive better financial rewards for strengthening customer relationships and maintaining renewal of Bitdefender licenses.

Channel partners can also add new revenue streams to their security product and service offerings with Bitdefender’s endpoint protection and response (EDR) including extended detection and response (XDR), cloud workload security, as well as managed detection and response (MDR).

Additionally, there’s now an enhanced portal experience for access to key sales and marketing content and a slew of other useful tools, the firm revealed, while partners can also leverage a new e-learning platform that houses sales and technical tutorials, alongside in-depth sales training on all of its products and services.

“The enhanced benefits and features of our Partner Advantage Network program are based on direct feedback from more than 20,000 channel partners and make our program one of the most lucrative in the world for resellers and distributors,” Kelley added.
