Video communications firm Zoom has announced new benefits to its Master Agent Referral Partner Programme.

The additions include increased partner revenue on qualifying deals with Zoom Phone and Zoom United, as well as a simplified commission structure to increase predictability for Master Agents.

Launched a year ago, Zoom’s Master Agent programme was introduced to provide partners with access to the company’s entire product suite and ongoing commission of Zoom products for the life of the customer. It also offers simplified and streamlined sales engagement, as well as no-cost tools and resources.

After expanding the programme into new geographies last year, Zoom also revealed that it has now added six new businesses to its pool of Master Agents: AppSmart, Bridgepointe, eLink Distribution AG, PlanetOne, Sandler Partners, and TCG.

"Following our first-year anniversary of the Master Agent program, I'm proud to announce significant partner benefits and an exciting, new expansion," commented Laura Padilla, head of Business Development and Channel at Zoom. "We increased our partner bookings by over 7x year-over-year, and have seen tremendous momentum for our partner ecosystem."

With the six new additions, Zoom’s pool of Master Agents now consists of 11 businesses, while more than 2,000 Sub-Agents are also participating in the scheme.

Two of its Master Agents – Avant Communications and Intelysis – have already achieved one million in monthly recurring revenue (MRR) within a year of participating in the programme.

Now, with the initiative's new commission structure, Zoom says its Master Agents can earn more than ever before and expand their business with solutions such as Zoom Phone and Zoom United.

"We have developed new solution offerings, reached into new sales segments and international markets, and continued to grow our upmarket business," Padilla added. "By partnering with Master Agents, value-added resellers, carriers, service providers, and ISVs, Zoom continues to make a positive impact on the industry."

Zoom has also launched a new Global Partner Advisory Council, designed to provide a forum for the exchange of information, feedback and ideas on topics such as company and partner growth.
