SonicWall bolsters its managed security services program

SonicWall has announced an enhanced version of its SecureFirst Managed Security Service Provider (MSSPs) Program, designed to provide the licensing models, resources and tools to help MSSPs scale and grow their business.

Built on the existing SecureFirst program, SonicWall says the three-tiered enhanced version offers a range of benefits, including flexible price options, tailored premier technical support access and access to MSSP field sales and technical specialists.

There's also increased access to co-marketing funds, as well as specialisation training and assessments for sales and technical staff.

With the recent need for businesses to deploy security to a large number of remote workers, SonicWall is also including its Secure Mobile Access (SMA) solution for MSSPs - which it says will allow scalable security and connectivity at costs based on the number of concurrent users.

"We're combining our 28 years of experience, data and technology with our partner-led culture to deliver the next round of enhancement to our MSSP program," said Luca Taglioretti, vice president of Global MSSP Carrier Sales at SonicWall. "We want to give participating partners, both regionally and globally, a competitive edge."

Created in 2016, the SonicWall SecureFirst Partner Program boasts more than 20,500 partners globally. As well as offering real-time cyber threat intelligence, businesses also receive education and accreditation through its SonicWall University initiative.

Now, the programs' MSSP Protect, MSSP Powered, MSSP Powered Plus tiers will also offer partners a range of additional perks, SonicWall said, including expanded pricing model licenses, aggressive volume-based pricing based on assets under management and priority access to Premier Support tier 3 engineers.

Partners will also be offered increased access to MDF, including accruals for Powered Plus partners, support from a new MSSP strategic account management team, as well as the addition of Secure Mobile Access (SMA) to the portfolio.
