Kaspersky agrees distribution deal with Infinigate

Eugene Kaspersky

Cybersecurity provider Kaspersky has announced a new partnership with distributor Infinigate, as it moves to increase the value-added services it offers to service providers, resellers and users.

Kaspersky said the agreement forms part of its evolution as a vendor as it shifts towards offering customers a “complete journey” rather than simply selling cybersecurity solutions.

The partnership will also enable Infinigate to offer a complete cybersecurity portfolio to its partners that encompasses an extensive range of technologies and services, with the distributor’s emphasis on providing value-added services making it an ideal fit, the vendor added.

“We were really keen to evolve how Kaspersky operates in the channel,” commented Andy Bogdan, head of Kaspersky’s UK channel. “Distribution is evolving, and those that do not adapt to the market needs will struggle.

“That is why Infinigate was such an attractive prospect for us: it shares the same ethos as Kaspersky through innovative technologies, with a focus on empowering service providers whilst delivering excellent customer service.”

To provide value-added services, Infinigate has created a go-to-market package for aspiring and existing service providers, complete with training, business development, contract creation, lead generation activity, as well as pre-sales and technical support. This package will enable partners to deliver reliable solutions to their customers, the distributor said.

“Infinigate has selected Kaspersky as a strategic partner due to its credibility among experienced cybersecurity professionals and analysts,” said Murray Pearce, managing director of Infinigate. “Kaspersky provides deep security services for organisations such as Interpol and is recognised for providing technical excellence, with the leading edge in machine learning, cloud security and threat intelligence technologies.

“As a result of this partnership, we will have access to a wealth of cybersecurity and partnering expertise that our partners can leverage, particularly in empowering service providers and assisting their enablement journey. This will help their clients grow their business – as well as boosting their own bottom lines too.”
