IT security and cloud distributor Infinigate has announced a new agreement with iboss to distribute its range of cloud-based internet security solutions in the UK and Ireland.

Effective immediately, the deal means partners now have access to iboss' SaaS-based platform via subscription, which provides secure access to the internet via the cloud, regardless of device or location.

Infinigate will also deliver a full complement of value-added services to iboss partners, including lead generation and business development activities, professional services and post-sales support.

The platform helps organisations eliminate the need to expend resources on installing infrastructure and hardware, allowing them to deliver solutions faster and acquire customers more efficiently, the distributor said.

"iboss has developed a disruptive cloud platform to secure internet access from any device, from any location, in the cloud," commented Murray Pearce, managing director of Infinigate UK. "Simplicity combined with deep flexibility make the iboss platform a high performing enterprise class solution that provides substantial opportunities for partners."

Currently, iboss protects over 4,000 organisations globally from malware, infections and data loss and was recognised as "leading visionary" in the Gartner Secure Web Gateway Magic Quadrant back in 2018.

The firm's secure access platform shifts focus from following perimeters to following users, enabling consistent cloud security whether users are in the office or out on the road.

"This mobility trend is at the heart of why iboss is growing so rapidly and why Infinigate's presence in the UK and established relationships with over 2,000+ partners, provides iboss with a seamless partnership to continue to grow the UK and Ireland market at speed whilst stepping into new regions," said Craig Talbot, vice president EMEIA at iboss.

Due to fast rate of growth across EMEIA, iboss said it is looking for partners who are experts in helping customers migrate from on-premise security to cloud-based SaaS services, which will in turn accelerate their mid-market and enterprise customer digital transformation initiatives.

"The partnership opportunities with iboss are considerable, and the reason for that is that once companies move to cloud applications such as Office 365, they realise their security requirements must move too. It's a critical need, not a want," Talbot added.
