Enterprise IT firm Resolve is set to acquire AIOps specialist FixStream, in a deal that brings AI-driven insights into hybrid IT environments to its automation platform.

Working towards the concept of "self-healing IT", the unified product will bring FixStream's predictive analytics together with Resolve's cross-domain service-level automation capabilities to tackle complex enterprise issues in a matter of seconds.

Expected to be finalised by the end of September, the $24 million acquisition brings all processes in-house, allowing Resolve to deliver a closed-loop system of discovery, analysis, detection prediction and automation.

This includes handling a wide range of IT operations, including AI-driven infrastructure mapping, operational data correlation and predictive analytics for intelligently automating cross-domain actions based on its findings.

For enterprises, this will also result in improved infrastructure performance, Resolve said, as well as substantially-reduced IT costs, enhanced business agility and more time for IT teams to focus on other initiatives such as digital transformation.

"We believe that FixStream's AIOps and infrastructure mapping capabilities are a perfect marriage with Resolve's enterprise automation platform, providing game-changing functionality, that will enable customers to achieve unprecedented agility, speed and simplicity in IT operations," said John Ferron, CEO of Resolve.

"By combining our powerful, cross-domain automation with insights from FixStream's artificial intelligence, we'll be able to help IT teams accelerate their digital transformation journey."

With 7x revenue growth over the last 24 months, FixStream's solution is one of the fastest growing AIOps platforms on the market, the Resolve said. The popular solution specialises in providing automated dependency mapping, which dynamically tracks the changing relationships between applications and underlying infrastructure to help find the root cause of performance issues.

Leveraging AI and machine learning, the platform also analyses and contextualises large volumes of system data – enabling it to detect patterns that predict future issues across the entire IT stack.

"Together Resolve and FIxStream offer IT organisations the complete automation platform they have been looking for," said Sameer Padhye, CEO and founder of FixStream. "We've repeatedly heard the need for a solution that brings together best-in-class AIOps with proven, cross-domain automation capabilities and we are thrilled to see this vision become a reality.

"Beyond the synergies that exist within our products, we share the common goal of helping IT organisations address the challenges posed by modern IT infrastructure and improve service delivery."
