High-speed network operator Vaioni Wholesale has secured a multi-million-pound investment from Panoramic Growth Equity, as the WAN provider looks to press ahead with its expansion plans.

Taking its total funds raised to £5.5 million, the firm said the investment will accelerate the rollout of its software-defined network strategy, help bring network automation to customers, as well as enhance its product range with unified communications, internet security and cloud.

The development will also help enable the business to strategically enter new markets and drive its “people strategy” forward, Vaioni founder and managing director Sachin Vaish said.

“Our goal is to become the digital transformation partner of choice,” Vaish explained. “We look forward to working closely with the team at Panoramic as Vaioni continues to disrupt the channel in its ambition to help our partners stand out from the crowd, as businesses continue to make the digital transformation transition by delivering market-leading services to both new and existing customers.”

Founded by Vaish in 2008, Vaioni delivers an ultra-fast connectivity and WAN portfolio via its national Ethernet platform V.E.N. Having achieved continuous growth since its establishment, the business now connects 250,000 postcodes across 100 UK towns and cities with 100Mbps to 10Gbps internet speeds.

Vaioni also boasts integrations with top UK carriers - including BT, Virgin and Talk Talk Business – to reach outside of its own network and maintain high availability for users.

“We are delighted to support Sachin and the rest of his team at Vaioni to help them continue their growth journey,” said Panoramic partner David Wilson, who will also join the Vaioni board as part of the agreement.

“We have been particularly impressed by the growth that Vaioni has achieved to date, the strength of the management team and the opportunity for Vaioni to expand its network and production portfolio across the UK. We are excited to be involved and will now take an active role in helping the business grow further.”
