Cisco is expanding its Marketing Velocity brand, as the networking giant looks to help partners transform the ways in which they reach customers through their marketing activities.

Integrating the firm's existing range of capabilities under one offering, According to Cisco the new initiative delivers a "first-ever" comprehensive programme of its kind to support partners' digital transformation and, ultimately, drive revenue opportunities.

The expansion has also been designed to enable partners at all points in their process, Cisco said, from elevating their market practices and delivering marketing funds, to enablement tools that accelerate field activation.

"This is more than just bringing all of the partner marketing resources under one brand," said Boon Lai, vice president of global partner marketing at Cisco. "It's ultimately about integrating and up-levelling our partners' marketing practices with an end-to-end solution to attract new customers, deliver more sales and drive profits.

"We are deeply committed to investing and accelerating our partners' marketing expertise through this new platform."

Cisco's revamped Marketing Velocity now consists of four key components: Marketing Velocity Learning, Funding for Marketing Velocity, Marketing Velocity Central and Marketing Velocity Activate.

Designed to fuel growth of partner marketing practices, the education and empowerment gateway Cisco Marketing Velocity Learning offers real-time access to educational tools to help businesses keep pace with rapid industry change.

Cisco Funding for Marketing Velocity then helps partners with their everyday tasks and provides funds towards marketing their company and the Cisco products they offer, as well as co-marketing initiatives.

The third cornerstone of the program, Cisco Marketing Velocity Central, delivers a full-service marketing portal to assist partners in performance and transformation. The hub offers a range of tools such as free-to-use customisable marketing campaigns, advanced process analysis, agency marketplace, and a seamless funding application.

Lastly, the Cisco Marketing Velocity Activate, a new co-marketing service currently in limited release, adds what the company claims is an "industry-first" program designed to drive revenue through business data and insight-driven joint planning with Cisco and partner omnichannel journeys.

"The further evolution of Cisco Marketing Velocity displays how committed Cisco is to helping their partners to grow their digital marketing capability and, more importantly, outcomes," commented Steve White, program vice president at Cisco's Channel and Alliances division.
