Technology distributor Exertis has announced the integration of Stampede’s UK and European operations into its Pro AV Solutions division, following parent company DCC Technology’s acquisition of the company back in July.

Led by Warren Lewis and supported by Kevin Kelly, the distribution firm will carry the Exertis Pro AV Solutions name with immediate effect, with Stampede’s former director of European sales Jody Hutchings now heading up the UK sales operation.

The Nordic arm of the Stampede business will be fronted by Exertis Nordic business director Fredrik Tidemar, while the French operation of Just Lamps will be led by Christophe Mathis, head of Exertis Connect’s Pro AV division.

Exertis says the move will provide more opportunities for resellers, with customers of both distribution firms benefiting from a greater range of products, resources and support across the UK and Europe.

“Integrating the combined businesses of Exertis’ and Stampede’s Pro AV divisions ensures we can offer greater value with an extended vendor portfolio and a comprehensive range of technical support that can provide resellers with AV solutions to meet any requirement in any virtual market,” explained Warren Lewis, EMEA head of Pro AV at Exertis.

“Importantly, we have a team of highly experienced and knowledgeable people who can also tap into other product categories within the Exertis Group, providing resellers with a complete end-to-end solution for their customers.”

Stampede’s existing operations in North America, Latin America, as well as the entire Asia Pacific region (APAC) remains unchanged, Exertis also confirmed.
