Microsoft Azure specialist New Signature and SAP partner Edenhouse Solutions have announced a partnership that aims to simplify and de-risk SAP customers’ transition to the cloud.

The move follows the formation of a strategic alliance between Microsoft and SAP last year and focuses on delivering SAP to customers via Azure cloud solutions.

New Signature and Edenhouse say that the collaboration will allow businesses to achieve seamless integration between SAP investment, innovative workplace tools, enhanced security, as well as round-the-clock local support.

The combined expertise will also help manage the increasing number of organisations looking to migrate to the cloud before SAP’s upcoming 2025 ECC support deadline and provide the opportunity for businesses to gain a competitive advantage by making the switch sooner.

Bryan Lloyd, technology transformation director at New Signature UK, explained that Microsoft’s strategic alliance with SAP formed the foundations for the move, creating “rich and compelling” public cloud SAP platform that will last for more than two decades.

“In response to this, we decided to form a strategic partnership with Edenhouse Solutions; a jointly formed professional and managed service best of breed partnership, delivering SAP on Azure solutions, bringing together award-winning Microsoft Azure and SAP gold partners respectively,” he explained.

“Our partnership signifies a pivotal and exciting disruption in the marketplace as we aim to compete with the top global system integrators delivering SAP on Azure solutions.”

The partnership will also help reduce the overhead costs associated with these traditional global systems integrators, as well as aiding businesses in managing an SAP cloud infrastructure to reduce operating costs.

“This is a highly strategic partnership with New Signature, combining two best of breed partners who believe in the importance of quality and culture,” said Robert Furnivall, director of hosting at Edenhouse.

“This unique partnership promises to accelerate success and de-risk the journey to the cloud. Despite being two businesses, our customers benefit from one engagement, across two industry leading partners to ensure success.”
