Systal has recruited two new members of its leadership team to help it meet its expansion goals in the enterprise cloud market.

John Bidgood has been announced as the company's chief technology officer, with his primary task to develop Systal's high-value business, including developing the strategies and services large corporations are looking to implement. He will apply his experience gained at organisations including IBM, where he held numerous leadership roles in the company's network services division.

The second hire is Linda Anderson as marketing manager. She will lead Systal's online and offline marketing strategies to help communicate the company's expansion plans with partners, internal teams and the media.

“We’re very excited to welcome both John and Linda to Systal," Douglas Cumming, director at Systal said. "Systal is an extremely ambitious business, keen to not only grow but also to respond to our customers’ needs and objectives in developing our service offering, and ensuring that we’re operating at the forefront of technological developments."

Both hires complement Systal's recent UK growth, which included recruiting for 30 new highly-skilled jobs in its incident management team at its Glasgow head office. It demonstrates how the company is shifting to accommodate the changing requirements of the enterprise.

“The IT demands and requirements of enterprise organisations have changed drastically over the last few years," Bidgood said. "With technology such as hybrid cloud infrastructure for example, which can take many varied forms, it’s more important than ever that managed service providers understand their customers’ businesses and develop their strategy accordingly.

“Systal places great emphasis on its long-term relationship with the companies it works with and this makes them ideally placed to deliver this.”
