Cisco finds a new gold partner in Logicalis

Gold, silver and bronze medal

Logicalis has become Cisco's latest Global Gold partner, joining BT, Dimension Data, Ericsson, IBM and Orange Business Services, which were all awarded accreditation when the company's highest tier was announced last May.

The company achieved the status thanks to its history supporting Cisco technologies and services, said CEO Mark Rogers: "Logicalis is a multi-national organisation that completely understands the challenges of doing business around the world. We are really happy to see that our investments in our team skills, our solid business processes and our truly integrated operations around the globe are now recognised.

"Most important is that our clients can be further assured of Logicalis's unparalleled expertise and unwavering commitment to keep continuously reinvesting in the technologies and services that support their business."

To become a Global Gold partner, companies must demonstrate deep Cisco expertise, including the Advanced Enterprise Networks Architecture and Advanced Security Architecture specialisations. Partners can choose whether they want to specialise in either the Advanced Collaboration, Advanced Data Centre or Advanced Service Provider streams too.

Additionally, partners wanting Global Gold partner status must also resell four hybrid IT services and have provider contracts in place (with an end-customer SLA, marketing and/or technical description and hybrid IT resale lifecycle management process), have a minimum of 12 unique certified full-time employees, with four CCIEs and no more than four Selling Business Outcomes (SBO).

The guidelines also take into account customer satisfaction, minimum revenues and a minimum service attach rate of 40%.
