Trustwave has picked e92plus to distribute its services in the UK, as it targets the cyber security space.

E92plus will distribute Trustwave's cyber security solutions and managed security services in the UK, with its education and testing services opening up new avenues for the firm, particularly attracting the attention of resellers who don't have that particular expertise in-house, the companies believe.

"Trustwave are a very well respected brand in the industry, regularly recognised in analyst rankings and media outlets, and offer a number of solutions that we've been looking to add to our portfolio," Mukesh Gupta, CEO and founder of e92plus said.

"They are increasing their investment in their channel business, and offer a number of unique and exciting differentiators, from the broadest portfolio of managed security services to their zero malware guarantee."

He added the partnership will present enhanced opportunities for e92plus partners to add on Trustwave's cyber security solutions, while its managed security services will help VARs sell-in new solutions to their existing customers without them having to stump up significant cash spent on recruiting new staff or training existing employees

"E92plus is an excellent partner to help us increase our channel network in the UK and Ireland, an important part of our regional growth strategy," Will Benton, Trustwave's regional director for the UK and Ireland, said.

"Trustwave Managed Security Services are ideal to help businesses cope with the pressure of the increasing number of cyber-attacks, and regulation changes such as the General Data Protection Regulation, and the e92plus partner network is perfectly placed to help us reach organisations that need these types of services."
