Formpipe Lasernet has appointed a new sales executive, brought in to help build the company's reseller network in the UK.

Nick Collard brings 17 years' experience in the tech sales sector to the table, with the added bonus of Microsoft Certified practitioner status. He will be instrumental in growing the company's partnerships and alliances, while also maintaining the company's certified reseller network across the UK.

“It’s an exciting time to join Lasernet, with new capabilities rolling off the development line, coupled with mainstream adoption of cloud technologies – it’s about ensuring our product positioning aligns with industry strategic goals and trends," Collard said.

He added that the company's innovative methods of employing a hybrid approach - merging both on-premise and cloud-based solutions rather than relying on maintenance revenue streams - ensure Formpipe Lasernet will continue being profitable in a changing landscape.

"Peel away the hype of cloud ERP and you find a business model that must deliver value daily to customers both now and in the future. Ultimately, it’s about putting customer needs first," he said.

Before joining Formpipe Lasernet, Collard was sales executive at Mentor Business Systems, working for Ubisense, Xanalys and IBM in various sales roles before that.

“Nick has shown the ability to quickly understand pain points for our clients and deliver solutions," Lasernet’s sales and marketing director, Michael Rogers, said. "In everything he does, he's mindful of putting the customer’s needs first and that’s what it’s all about. It’s great to have Nick on board and to be growing both our UK and global operation.”
