Ooyala has launched a global channel programme, aimed at equipping MSPs and VARs with the resources to sell a range of products including video production workflow, analytics and monetisation platforms.

It believes introducing its offerings to partners will open up opportunities for the channel to sell extras on top of just video production tools, making it a more attractive option for companies experimenting with the medium.

"At Ooyala, we want all customers to thrive in the future of TV delivery and production and have built our business around it. Our increased commitment to our channel programme is designed to attract and enable our customer’s preferred suppliers and align with their typical buying patterns,” said Ooyala CEO, Issac Vaughn.

"The bottom line is Ooyala succeeds only if our customers succeed, and this programme is designed to help broadcasters, media companies and studios succeed."

The programme would comprise three tiers - Referral Partners, Associate Resellers and Premier Resellers. The company said it will give partners the opportunity to accelerate through the three tiers quickly, with its free online training, co-selling support, demo accounts, technical support seats, product discounts and executive sponsorship.

"Our reseller partners now have immediate access to a wide portfolio of video solutions from video production, delivery and analytics, backed by a technology partner committed to providing the support and collaboration required for them to meet and exceed their business goals," added Ooyala senior channel director, Aanal Bhatt.

"The new, tiered partner programme arms them with the resources required to continue to see increased success with their customers and provide solutions that solve the most complex video challenges in the industry today."
